“Green
Gates was such an elegant and classy wedding venue! The picturesque backdrop of
the lake for the ceremony, the romantic atmosphere of the ballroom for the
reception, and the amazing candlelit departure of the bride & groom on the
water made our daughter’s wedding perfect!”

"Kerry and Debbie are great to
work with! They have creative ideas and are always willing to work with
you in fulfilling your ideas. In fact, they are so accommodating
that on the busy day of my daughter's wedding, Kerry removed the old door
to their tool room at the request of the photographer. Due to his
willingness to work with the photographer’s artistic eye, we now have very
innovative and fun photos. The beauty of Green Gates cannot be beat,
whether looking out on the lake with the mountains in view or to the
handcrafted log cabin in the back; it is stunning! The unique fulfillment
of the wonderful day was when the bride and groom where whisked
away by speedboat. It was the perfect departure for a lakeside
wedding!"

"I have officiated
weddings at over 400 locations over the years, but let me tell you about my new
favorite: Green Gates at Flowing Lake.
The day before Lee &
Kim’s wedding I came to walk through the venue. I was greeted with the
outstanding hospitality of Debbie and Kerry Horner and their very “can do”
attitude. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the accoutrements
were delightful. Obviously, a lot of thought has gone into this place.
The wedding took place
on a beautiful August evening near the lake. The water and the sky were
blue; the grounds were green and the trees were grand. A big surprise was
how much parking there is on the spacious grounds. The buildings add to
the ambiance and are nestled nicely into the surroundings.
This location is a
delight to officiate a wedding at. I highly recommend that wedding
couples check out Green Gates for an unmatched ceremony and reception
setting. Debbie and Kerry will take great care of you and give you – and
your guests – a memorable experience."

"It is a rare jewel
to see a couple that fits perfectly together. Andrew and Katelyn’s wedding day
was filled with many loving tears beside joyful laughter. Almost every time the
couple interacted, love seemed to flow between them. To usher in their big day,
Andrew and Katelyn chose a beautiful wedding location off the beaten path. The
two young love birds were married at a little known, but a beautiful new venue,
Green Gates at Flowing Lake, located in Snohomish, Washington. The location
featured an exquisite lake view, a large barn for the reception, antique
furniture, a log cabin and a vintage style to tie the wedding together. The
wedding ceremony was conducted outside, looking out over the sparkling lake, on
a rare, but stunning sunny day in the Seattle area. The wedding continued in
the romantically lit barn, which featured traditional cake cutting, engaging
toasts, dancing and a bouquet and garter toss that left everyone with light
hearts. The couple left the wedding in a nontraditional manner, on a small boat
lit by candles. What a beautiful day with a beautiful couple."
